Usually once a year, I get the opportunity to go to a cookout with Matt’s family in South Carolina. This year we did it at the very end of May, and I got to see the very photogenic horse that Matt’s Aunt has on her property. I took this particular picture a few years ago, but Brown Eyes* was doing his normal posing and practically begging for attention this time too. Brown Eyes hid in the woods while it poured down rain, but he was friends with the fence until it started that day. All the kids were near the fence just about the whole time, petting the horse and making some ooh, ahh noises that Mr. Eyes apparently loves.

I just love when animals are photogenic. I have several pictures from the day I brought my camera, and honestly most of them are ‘bad’ because of me, or a little kid hand or head got in the shot. Do you have any photogenic animal pictures? Care to share them?

*Please note, the horse’s name is not Brown Eyes. I have no idea what the horses name is. I made Brown Eyes up. I spent a lot of time on it though, so maybe I should tell Aunt Sandy to change the horse’s name. Yes? Or, perhaps, I should ask what the horses name is next time we go down there?
