Spring seems so far away when the current temperature is 21° and tonight’s low is expected to be 16°.

I’m cold down to my bones. My fingers are freezing, and despite fuzzy socks and fleece pajama pants, my feet feel like icicles. I’ve never liked the winter. I hate all the layers of clothes, having to start the car 10 minutes before leaving the house so it warms up, and being able to see the breath leave my body.

Going through my pictures and coming across this one makes me long for spring even more. I know it’s only a few months away, but right now that feels like forever.
