Today when I got to work, my boss’ new daffodil plant was sitting in the sink under the window. The light and perfect little blooms were enough to force me into pulling out my camera for a quick shot.

I tried last week but it was a big fat fail. I’m glad I was able to be patient and get a great shot today.

Daffodils will forever remind me of my husband’s grandmother, who we lost to heart disease in 2005. Every time I see them, my heart smiles for her.
